Climbing to cure lymphoma
In January 2008, a team of two climbers summited
Mount Aconcagua, in Argentina, to raise money for
the Lymphoma Research Foundation and increase
awareness of lymphoma and other life threatening
diseases.

Aconcagua is the highest peak in the Western
Hemisphere, at 22,841 feet, and is one of the
"Seven Summits" (the highest peaks on each of the
seven continents).

All expenses for the climbing expedition have been
funded by the climbers themselves.  All of your
generous donation go
es directly to the Lymphoma
Research Foundation.  Over $2000 has been
raised for the LRF to date, and we will continue
collecting donations in conjunction with this climb
through mid-February.  Thank you!

The guys have made it to camp 2! Yeah!! They are going to sleep early to wake up at 2am tomorrow to start for their summit bid. The weather reports they are getting is telling them tomorrow is the best weather window in the next 2 weeks. Tonight they are camping right beside the Polish Glacier. They are very excited to summit tomorrow. I will write more when I hear from them.

Our hopes and prayers are with Jeff and Mark as they move toward the summit. I have only summited in Oregon and Colorado with 14,000 ft being the highest, so I have tremendous admiration for making it past
20,000 ft. Our family admires the effort in the climb, appreciates the link to the lymphoma research effort, and cherishes the best wishes and prayers for our personal campaign in my cancer diagnosis and
ultimately the treatment. CLIMB ON, Men. And God-speed.
We hope our prayers strengthen and encourage you toward the summit as your prayers have done for us during John's recent health crisis. Love to both of you, Mom
